Sarah Jane's current status:
UK - Series 3 will be on BBC One and CBBC this fall. No start date yet, but
starting in late September like Series 1 and 2 would be the easiest way to do
it.
USA - Since Syfy has not purchased Series 2 or 3 of Sarah Jane, we have no idea
when or if the episodes will reach our TV screens. No network has mentioned that
they are buying the show yet. Yes, BBC America has been sent e-mails and
twitters asking if they'll step forward.
CANADA - BBC Kids has not mentioned any plans to pick up Sarah Jane Series 2.
Instead they've been getting themselves dropped from some cable systems. No
other network has mentioned if they want Sarah Jane in Canada.

1) Home to the longest continuously running weekly-ish international Doctor Who
chat show done in podcast format. Hosted by Louis Trapani, Ken Deep, and James
Naughton, with frequent contributions/co-hosting by Dave AC, Mike Doran, and a
cast of many. There is a feed for studio shows and a feed for live shows.
2) Also home to the Sonic Newsdriver, Louis Trapani's periodic rundown of new
Doctor Who news.
3) Also home to the Hitch-hiker's Guide To British Sci-Fi, a podcast covering a
mix of shows, including Doctor Who.
Current episode:
-Podshock Episode 158 - Tara Wheeler gives more details about Comic-Con now that
the event is over, plus a look forward to Dragon Con. The War Games reviewed.
Guest starring Adam The Cricket.
-Podshock Aftershock 20090813 - Louis Trapanai and guest Eric Escamilla talk
Second Life. Podshock is doing a Second Life meetup online this weekend, and it
may finish before the new podshock episode comes out, hence getting this quick
update out. Also, Louis has more thoughts on The War Games.
Radio Free Skaro http://www.radiofreeskaro.com
The 3 Canadians (Warren, Steven, Chris) get together on the weekends for about
an hour or more to discuss the latest in Doctor Who, Torchwood, and Sarah Jane
in a fairly amusing manner. When one is away, the 4th Canadian (Katrina) will
play. Or will she - Katrina and her friend Nat have launched a spinoff podcast
called "Bridging The Rift".
Current Episodes:
#153 - "A Tweet Too Far" - A misunderstanding about the lack of privacy on
twitter leads to some chat. (If the person who misunderstood happens to be
reading this - your tweets are not private. You write it - you run the risk it
will be seen and remembered forever.) Other general chat occurs. The main focus
is the premiere of the new segment - The Miniscope. First up - part one of a
look at the Doctor Who career of Robert Holmes.
Coming Soon:
Episode 154 - "Canadian Gothic" - In the miniscope segment, the three Canadians
look at Robert Holmes' Who career when he was script editor - the "gothic" part
of Tom Baker's run in the 1970s. Meanwhile, the gang ruminate on the
implications of BBC America already buying the 2010 episodes of Doctor Who, only
to remember that SPACE has already bought those episodes. Is there a chance that
SPACE and BBC America could get same day airings of the episodes? Would Radio
Free Skaro care?
DWO Whocast http://www.thewhocast.com
Trevor from Australia and Marty from the UK talk Doctor Who with themselves,
others, and teddy bears dressed as doctors. Now with a rock version of the
opening theme, the Whocast continues to ask the questions that pop in to their
heads. Regular correspondent - James. Frequent guest - Michael of the Tin Dog
podcast.
Current episodes:
#131. The Black Guardian trilogy (Mawdryn Undead, Terminus, and Enlightenment)
have come out on DVD in the UK. Our intrepid hosts investigate these three epic
stories, getting ever closer to the truth that the guardians were just
intergalactic tricksters who deserve to be exposed so their confidence games
end. But our hosts probably haven't gotten that far yet - expect a review of the
DVDs instead.
Tin Dog Podcast http://www.tin-dog.co.uk
UK based podcast looking at the latest in Doctor Who, Torchwood, or Sarah Jane
Adventures. New episodes ever 2 weeks or so.
Current episodes:
#96 - Michael examines the DVD of Mawdryn Undead and takes a second look at
Torchwood: Children Of Earth now that the miniseries is complete. Has time
helped him come to terms with the shocking changes in a show he liked the way it
was before?
#97 - Terminus hits DVD. DVD goes "ouch".

Dave AC and Ian have guest hosted CIA so much that they developed a taste for
doing it themselves. So they are launching their own show starting Sunday 2
August. Now the two shows will be side by side, one after the other for twice
the chatting on twice the topics. Chats open 15 minutes before the scheduled
start time.
Current episode:
2 - Star Trek: Voyager - Get Lost In The Delta Quadrant. The latest Doctor Who
news, a little meandering, and an affectionate look back at Star Trek: Voyager.
The forgotten Trek show (not the fame of Next Generation, the critical acclaim
of DS9, or the controversy of Enterprise). But it launched a network and kept it
afloat on just the show's nacelles. And it gave out many memories over its 7
seasons.
Upcoming episode:
Sunday 3:30PM EDT/12:30PM PDT/8:30PM BST - 3.
Two Minute Time Lord http://twominutetimelord.com
A bite-sized commentary and revew show. Host Chip's interest was rekindled by
the 2005 revival. He believes in balancing old fandom and new viewers, respect
for the past and breaking the rules. He tries to keep his pontifications to 120
seconds, because we're ALL in a hurry these days.
Current Episodes:
#54 - The iTunes Connection. Now that BBC America has Doctor Who TV rights in
the USA, Chip suggests a way to use iTunes and BBC America to get episodes here
fast enough to get people to watch the US versions rather than downloading. This
was recorded before BBC America's announcement that they were airing the 2010
episodes, but it works even better with that knowledge.
#55 - Why I'm A Bad Doctor Who Fan. Chip has had issues getting into any Doctor
Who prior to the 2005 revival. The view of the New Series fan, given in less
than 3 minutes. Chip then invites people to post responses on his website, and
there have been some good ones.
Staggering Stories http://www.staggeringstories.net
A wild, wandering podcast with Doctor Who and the other flavours of the moment
winding together roughly once every 2 weeks. The website's main focus is on
stories collected through the years.
Current:
Episode 51 - "How Much Wood Would A Torchwood Torch ...?" Staggering Stories
runs 90 minutes this time as many segments give way to a look at this year's
Torchwood - radio plays and Children Of Earth. Meanwhile, the Head Of Pertwee
has reason to feel like he's being ignored ...
Coming around 16 August - Episode 52 - I'm suspecting a look at Red Dwarf based
on twitter noises.
The Flashing Blade Podcast http://www.flashingblade.org.uk
Tony Gallichan returns to podcast land with new podcaster Jo! to look at Doctor
Who and matters of interest. Tony grew up with UK fandom and knows all the
cliches. Jo! - didn't. Flashing Blade wants to be known as the podcast that
would like a nice cup of tea.
Current episode:
10. Jo! tapdances for us all to ... hear. The team reviews the Big Finish audio
"Spare Parts" and TV story Dalek from the 2005 Christopher Eccleston episodes.
Coming Soon - 11. The One Doctor and The Visitation get reviewed.
Bridging The Rift http://bridgingtherift.wordpress.com
Katrina (Radio Free Skaro) and Nat launch a new show bringing the worlds of
Doctor Who fandom, Torchwood fandom, Sarah Jane Adventures fandom, K9 fandom,
and other areas together. Each week - a special guest co-host.
3. Trock Opera. One year ago, Trock (Time Lord Rock) music officially came into
existence. And the people doing Time Lord Rock are almost all focused on the
modern series (2005 onwards), sadly ignoring 1963 to 2004. But wait - Doctor Who
songs without the Trock name have been around since the very beginning. Katrina,
Nat, and Alex Day (from the Trock Band Chameleon Circuit). Also, the difference
between Trock and Filk. Extended length episode.
The Minute Doctor Who Podcast
http://web.mac.com/backintheussr6/The_Minute_Doctor_Who_Podcast/Podcast/Podcast.\
html

Video (sometimes just audio) podcast looking at Doctor Who projects. Episodes
are usually under 5 minutes long.
Current episode:
20 - Cricket - Luke gives a rather detailed breakdown of how Doctor Who explains
the rules of cricket. The game almost made sense to me after watching this one,
and that game has NEVER made sense to me. And as I said on Twitter, I'm guessing
the Doctor learned about cricket in his 3rd incarnation while exiled on Earth -
the planet was getting invaded 4 or 5 times a year, and those stories were
taking a week or less each in real time. The Doctor needed other things to fill
up the rest of each year.
Luke is planning episodes 21 and 22. One of them is supposed to be a defense of
the UK National Health Service. Not sure how that ties in to Doctor Who, but
tune in soon to find out.
Doctor Who Review Today http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/22756
call in number (724) 444-7444 talkshoe id 22756
Live editions Late Fridays 1AM EDT/10PM PDT/6AM BST every couple of weeks
Robert Carrie King reviews Doctor Who topics (DVDs and news, mostly) on this
Talkshoe program. Frequent cast member on CIA: Cultdom In Audio.
Most recent episode - July something. Episode 41. Three stories on Robert's
agenda this time. The Rescue AND The Romans*, along with Army Of Ghosts. *I know
the two stories come after each other, get released together on VHS and DVD, and
The Rescue is a bit short, but these stories don't share anything except the
cliffhanger.
The Tennantcast http://tennantcast.com
Kelsey, Kari, Flossie, and friends get together to dish on the latest David
Tennant news.
12 - Geography Lessons and SDCC. Kelsey is still in Scotland, leaving Kari,
Flossie, and guest host Steven (Radio Free Skaro) to carry on. Can a Canadian,
an American, and someone from London figure out the geography of the world? What
news came out during San Diego Comic Con? And what is Kelsey looking for in
Scotland?
13 - Like The Fruit? Kelsey returns from Scotland and sees what's happened to
the podcast while she's been away. Sorry I can't describe it better - podcast
arrived too late to listen to.
14 - The team look at David Tennant's appearance in Randall And Hopkirk
(Deceased). You didn't know David Tennant was in Randall And Hopkirk (Deceased),
did you? Fortunately I did and I let them know about it. Bwa-ha-ha.
The Wailing Fangirl http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/22228
Samantha (Romana 2) explores Doctor Who and fandom in Australia, sometimes with
the aid of the ladies of the Gallifreyan Time Love Brigade. Frequent cast member
on CIA: Cultdom In Audio.
Current episodes:
10a and b. Review and full length commentary on Planet Of The Dead, the most
recent new Doctor Who episode. Advice to the Tennantcast crowd - listen to 10a
and 10b.
11. Torchwood: Children Of Earth. An epic 2 hour, 16 minute episode has a
detailed look at Children Of Earth, day by day.
A Podcast Of Impossible Things http://podcastofimpossiblethings.blogspot.com
Cardiff-based Doctor Who fans get together to discuss the latest Doctor Who and
do a full length commentary on new Doctor Who episodes.
Current episodes:
Full length commentaries on Torchwood: Children Of Earth episode 1 and
Torchwood: Children Of Earth episode 5.
Bigger On The Inside http://www.earth-2.net
Mike and Dan decide to do their own podcast exploring each Doctor Who story in
broadcast order. It is a very different style from Jonathan's. Again - can they
pull it off? Part of the Earth-2 family of podcasts. Warning - explicit language
(swearing). If your headphones leak any sound at all - do not listen at work.
Current episode - 18 - Power Of The Daleks. A new Doctor arrives. Mike approves.
Coming soon - 19 - The Highlanders and The Underwater Menace.
Hoo On Who http://hooonwho.com
Fan reviews of recent Doctor Who DVDs by David Hooie, frequently with a guest
co-host.
Current episode:
#12. Battlefield. David comes into this story planning to like Battlefield a
great deal. I won't say he comes away hating it, but his reaction is rather
mixed. I think Battlefield is the best story of that season and would say so on
the air too, but I do understand what concerned him.
The Cloister Room http://thecloisterroom.com
Tom Dickinson begins a solo Doctor Who podcast effort with short shows on short
subject that get to the point, bulldoze through the point, back up to ground the
point down some more, then flee the scene before the police arrive.
Current episode - 2. "Oh Captain, My Captain!" Tom looks at the life of Captain
Jack Harkness, trying to reconcile his Doctor Who and Torchwood adventures into
a unified storyline.
Tim's Take On ...
Tim Drury's podcast on various issues. Still checking it out at press time.
Available on iTunes.
The Big Finish Podcast http://www.bigfinish.com/podcast
Big Finish podcasts at least once a month to discuss their Doctor Who and other
projects (Sapphire and Steel, Stargate (!), Dark Shadows, Bernice Summerfield,
etc).
Current episode - Charley Pollard special. Three new audios starring the 6th
Doctor (Colin Baker) and Charley (Isla Fisher) are coming soon. This has
inspired the Big Finish team to throw a party and have Ms. Fisher in as a guest.
Really can't explain why without spoiling it all - you'll have to tune in. And
if you're Red Green, expect to learn a new use for Duct Tape in case you ever
bring your show back to TV.
Tachyon TV http://www.tachyon-tv.co.uk
Irregular and irreverant podcast looking at the world of Doctor Who with a
funhouse mirror and coming out the other side holding a plush toy that wasn't
really the one you wanted but you'll keep it anyway because you can give it to
your girlfriend to impress her. It's that kind of show.
Current segment - a short appeal by "Rula Lenska".
MMM Commentaries/Fantragic http://www.mmmcommentaries.com
Roving Australian podcasting gang, including Trevor from the DWO Whocast.
Commentaries on Doctor Who episodes, Star Wars films, some Stargate stuff, and
others. The Frantragic episodes look at Doctor Who and other sci-fi news.
Fantragic episodes are on a different iTunes feed from MMM Commentary episodes.
Current Doctor Who episode - Journey's End. If the description in the iTunes tag
is anything to go by, this running commentary on the Doctor Who Series 4 finale
will not have a happy ending..
The Two Doctors http://www.blogtalkradio.com/thetwodoctors
call in number (718) 664-9807
Jim Iaccino and Kenn Gold look at the latest SciFi broadcasts in the US, with
emphasis on fitting in Doctor Who, Dollhouse, Smallville, Supernatural, Fringe,
Torchwood, and the other big scifi shows of the moment. Everything is based on
US premiere dates rather than UK. Approximately 90 minutes per episode. Show
airs live with a text chat and can be downloaded later.
Next episode - Late Sunday Midnight EDT/9PM PDT/Monday 5AM BST
TV Talk Radio http://blogtalkradio.com/shaunomacradio
Weeknights 6 to 8PM EDT (3 to 5PM PDT) [Friday 7PM EDT/4PM PDT]
Shaun O'Mac Daily (of the Jericho "nuts" campaign) hosts a daily 2 hour show
covering all things TV. Doctor Who is sometimes discussed in the 2nd hour of the
Friday show with Two Doctors co-host Kenn Gold. Listen and chat live through the
website with archives appearing right after the show finishes.

West and other Doctor Who fans liked the live Doctor Who: Podshocks so much that
they wanted to keep talking afterwards. The resulting show covers Doctor Who,
anything else sci-fi related, and can go wildly off in all directions. Show
founder West has alerted Dave AC and West that he will return full time to
hosting duties with episode 101. Chats open 15 minutes before the scheduled
start time.
Current episode - 100. Dave AC and Ian retire as the regular guest hosts. Final
episodes of TV shows are discussed. And could we have celebrity guest
appearances?
Next airdate unknown.
